Add Ion Adsorption Data

Here you enter the measured equilibrium adsorption data for any of the ions present in your experiments.

In the example shown below,
.... H(+) adsorption data were collected by the backtitration technique
.... OH(-) adsorption is the inverse of H(+) adsorption, so no need to repeat it here
.... Na(+) adsorption data were not collected
.... the phthalate adsorption data were collected with a TOC autoanalyzer
.... the Cl(-) adsorption data were collected by ISE titration methods

In the example shown below, the Cl(-) ions were also later determined to exist in the solid surface and thus result in a Cl(-) adsorption offset. Rather than having to re-enter all the pH dependent values, you simply edit the "Adsorption Offset" textbox information. When this happens, be sure to also edit the "Native Concentration" values for this ion in Step 2. Similarly, the H(+) offset was based on the ZPSE crosspoint.
